Been here for 3 times now. The double site #12 is awesome!! This is a small campground. It's right of Hwy 26, so yes, you will hear cars and trucks. As long as you are right along the ZigZag River, you don't notice as much, though. It's beautiful and green and the sites are all pretty private. Bathrooms are kept clean and what you would expect from a vault toilet. Doesn't seem to be as loud with obnoxious partiers as some of the more popular campgrounds can get. The only downside is there isn't a whole lot to do in the campground unless you are into fly fishing. The positive is there is a really good coffee shop a short walk away and if you forget anything the Market is super close and prices didn't seem to be as outrageous as I would expect for being in the middle of nowhere.
Honestly im a local in rhododendron and this is only 1/2 mile from my place so me and my family are always coming here and using the day use area. Always clean and well kept. Picnic tables, fire pits, everything you need for a good day with the family or weekend camping.
Very good camp ground. Nice and woodsy. A little bit too close to the highway.

Great campground! The potable water was pretty dirty and needed to be filtered but that is my only complaint! I hadn't heard much about this campground and had trouble finding a review but it is spectacular! What a view- and close to great hiking.
